Impact Play: Conscious Power, Sensation & Trust
This workshop offers a grounded introduction to impact play as a practice of sensation, trust, consent, and communication. Participants will learn the foundations of safe and conscious impact play, exploring how intensity, touch, and presence can deepen connection and body awareness.
The focus is not on dominance/submission dynamics, but on the roles of giving and receiving, creating space to explore sensation, boundaries, and trust in a clear and respectful way.
We will cover consent, negotiation, anatomy, nervous system awareness, pacing intensity, and aftercare. Participants will also be introduced to different tools such as floggers, paddles, hand impact, and softer sensation objects to experience a range of textures and intensities.
Exercises are fully optional and consensual, with the choice to observe or participate. This workshop is open to beginners as well as those with some experience who wish to deepen their understanding.
